Tim Bogg Successfully Appointed as Marine Rescue Crew, 13 September 2018.
Tim Bogg successfully completed his assessment for Marine Rescue Crew, Congratulations Tim !! This achievement is all the more noteworthy because of Tim's dedication to his training and the fact that he completed his training on Ulladulla 30. I even heard he passed with flying colours (for you Tim that means the Charlie and November flags, I'm afraid the rest of you will need to look that one up or ask Tim next time you see him). A big thank you to MR Ulladulla for helping Tim through his training.

Standing by to Help During the Bushfires, !5 August 2018
One of the little known tasks for Marine Rescue is to assist in the evacuation of residents from areas cut off by bushfires where the only means of evacuation may be by inland or coastal waterways. During the recent Mount Kingiman fires, Kioloa’s boat and crew were placed on standby to assist with possible evacuations around the Burrill Lake area. Although ready to go the fire situation eased and thankfully, the vessel was not required.

Kioloa crewman Tim Bogg (left) is keeping close watch on the tow from Kioloa 20 with help from Ulladulla trainee, Alex Bonser.
